We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join #TeamROCSOLE!
In this position you will develop software for our industrial sensor products. You will work closely with our domain experts to design and implement robust applications with intuitive interfaces. You are expected to give strong contribution to both UI and business logic code as well as to software tools used both internally and by customers.
As a member of our in-house software development team, you are responsible for writing good quality software using agile methods and tools. A successful candidate has a proven track record in developing real-life desktop applications. As a professional she/he understands what it required to write clean, good quality code and expect nothing less from herself/himself.
The right candidate will be a self-motivated, positive person who puts team goals ahead of individual accomplishments and collaborates often and effectively with team members and other teams.
We expect you to have:
- a BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge achieved by other means
- Solid programming skills
- Ability to write good quality, test covered code
- Preferably experience in C++, Python and JavaScript (or similar)
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Passion to take new challenges and an open mindset
- Good teamwork skills
The following will be considered as an advantage:
- Understanding of embedded software development and/or industrial automation
- Experience in databases
