Rocsole’s Chairman Anssi appointed as part-time Professor of Practice at the University of Eastern Finland

Rocsole’s full-time Chairman of the Board Anssi Lehikoinen has been appointed as part-time Professor of Practice in the field of innovation management at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF). As Professor of Practice is Anssi is able to bring his extensive practical experience on commercialization of scientific innovations into use at the university.

“This is a great opportunity for me to contribute to innovation management and commercialization, and at the same time, learn more myself”, says Anssi.

Anssi is co-founder and the Chairman of the Board at Rocsole, a spin-off from the University of Eastern Finland, Department of Physics. He was co-founder and the CEO of Numcore, also a university spin-off founded by mostly the same team as Rocsole. Numcore was acquired by Outotec in 2012. Anssi also has additional board positions in startups, currently at Nostetta Oy, VRT Finland Oy and Savroc Oy. He has a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Eastern Finland.
